As a family photographer, I work with nostalgic hearted families who understand how quickly time marches on and who just want to hit pause briefly to soak up this moment with their children. I can help you with my family documentary photography approach, letting natural interactions happen and being there to capture the unfolding magic (be that the quiet, chaotic, funny, messy or tender) in a completely honest way. Nothing is better than real life! My style of family photography is for those who want natural, relaxed and authentic images, not forced posing, forced smiles and everyone looking perfect.
I photograph you at your home, in whatever season of life you are in, be that with newborn babies, toddlers or older children. Having family photos together in one of the first homes you bought your children home to will be priceless in years to come. We can easily work around nap times, you'll have snacks on hand as well as all the things that are special to you, your children and your story.
It's not what the photos give you now, but what they will give you in 5, 10, 30 years time. Beautiful ordinary everyday moments to hold and reflect on…which were uniquely yours.

If you like the relaxed documentary style of my family sessions, fill out my contact form (or click book now button below) and we can start planning your session.

To lock in a date for your session, I'll send you across an initial invoice to pay and contract to sign. Once you have paid and signed you will be all booked in. The balance of the invoice is due by the day of your session.

Before your session, I'll send you my client guide with further info on how to prepare as well as a questionnaire to fill out. This will help plan your session, making sure we capture the most important things to you.

My family photography sessions are relaxed and will feel like you are just hanging out, cuddling and playing with your children. I come to you so we can easily work around nap times and we can authentically document how life was in this moment, with your home as the backdrop.
I love to document the special connections within your family in the current season you are in, so you remember what it felt like when your children were that age.
In addition to the documentary style images, we will get some portraits of you all together along the way too.

After your session, I'll carefully hand edit your images in a mixture of colour and black and white. Within 30 days, I'll send you the link to your online gallery, so you can download all the images and slideshow for safe keeping.
